One of my favourite views of Positano was of the beautiful Santa Maria Duomo (Cathedral). It totally steals the whole show! We had this amazing private staircase coming out of our Homeaway rental that was 5 minutes down to the beach and found this little nook along the way. I love hidden treasures like this!
Writing this on a Sunday, so I wanted to share a verse I love and re-read all of the time whenever I feel anxious, nervous or self-doubting: “For I know the plans I have for you” says the Lord “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a bright future” Jeremiah 29:11. Hope that gives you some encouragement today that you are held in the hands of the most high God who loves and cares for you more than you could ever know! Trips like these really give me perspective and make me thankful for everything He has given me that I don’t even deserve. Italy is so rich in faith, it’s everywhere you go: churches, gold crosses on everyone’s neck, icons of Mary & Jesus hung on stone walls and street corners, statues of saints. It’s impossible not to feel God’s presence here and I love it! Seriously – I need to move to Italy!! xoxo
